Tape Guidelines
Our booking process is tape based. Below is a list of things we're looking for in tape submissions.

-
Get to the material immediately: No long intros—have your tape start from your set right away.
-
Joke quality: Make sure your set features frequent, well-crafted jokes, with strong punchlines. In this highly competitive comedy scene, there is no room for duds.
-
Unique Performance: Show us who you are. Your tape should reflect your individual voice and stage presence.
-
Start Strong: You should be making jokes quickly. First impressions are highly important when an audience does not know the comic. Get them on your side.
-
Tape length: Submissions should be no longer than 5 minutes. If your tape exceeds this, we will only watch the first 5 minutes. We highly encourage using YouTube to ensure easy ability to share the tape as well as the ability to create a shareable link from a given start time.
-
Tape quality: We’re not concerned with production quality as long as the audio and video are clear enough for us to hear and see you.
-
Tape Format: We do not accept acting reels, sketches, or stand up sets that are constructed from different points in the same set or even different sets. As previously stated, we encourage YouTube uploads.
-
Audience Perspective: Your set should be something that answers the question "If I paid $15 to see this, would I be satisfied with my purchase?" Berating and belittling the audience or room as a whole is discouraged.
